Still more tax burdens for Farmers... 02/15/2012 @ 2:10pm It looks like "Someone" is determined to get a nice chunk out of American Agriculture's current state of Prosperity, one way or the other. Inflating land prices spell increasing taxes, as well as the increased tax revenues for record sales prices, taxes on equipment, etc., etc. While this will likely NEVER happen, it would be interesting if that total tax burden could be balanced/averaged between the "Fat Years" and the "Lean Years". Of course, that would require Political Leaders as wise as Joseph.
