Google Glass hits the farm

Jeff Caldwell 07/03/2013 @ 3:30pm Multimedia Editor for Agriculture.com and Successful Farming magazine.

A new category of digital technology is in the works that could change how you do a lot of work on your farm. Wearables, or devices you wear on your body somehow (some companies are working on watches or clothing attachments, too), will soon be ready for the business and consumer public. Google Glass is the first device making its way through the beta-testing phase. See some of the early impressions of the device, both from early product testers as well as some of the first farmers to get their hands on one.

Check out a first-hand account of the unveiling of a hot new tech tool that could have major uses on the farm.

The first farmers in the U.S. to get their hands on Google Glass talk about the future of the device and others like it.
