New Planter Technology on the Way

Jordan Anderson 02/11/2014 @ 11:42am Digital Content Editor for Successful Farming magazine and Agriculture.com

Agriculture.com has been given an exclusive opportunity to cover the unveiling of John Deere’s new planter, live from the floor of the National Farm Machinery Show.

View the live feed on Agriculture.com on Wednesday, February 12, at 8:00 AM CST. Our Machinery team will be there to interview John Deere representatives after the reveal. Share your questions in the forum to have them answered! Watch the live reveal and share your questions here

We've been talking with Agriculture.com users and Farmers for the Future members about what they'd like to see at the reveal.

Farmers for the Future member from Ohio, K2, hopes to see features including: electric drives, hydraulic weight transfer, precision meters, and/or less total weight overall.

Mizzou_Tiger, a veteran advisor on Agriculture.com forums, thinks that it would be revolutionary if "as you move thru a variable field the different hybrids are interchanged as prescription dictates as well as VRT."

What features would you like to see on Deere's new planter? Join the chat!
