Sponsored: 4-Year Data Shows June 30 Planting Date 33.8% Lower Yielding Than April 29th

This four-year study was designed to evaluate various soybean populations planted at different dates throughout the growing season. This plot data illustrates a perfect linear curve in terms of yield  dropping as planting dates were pushed later.

May 8: 3% lower yielding than April 29
May 14: 5.8% lower yielding than May 8
June 4: 10.5% lower yielding than May 14
June 11: 0.1% lower yielding than June 4
June 30: 18.2% lower yielding than June 11

The June 30th planting date was 33.8% lower yielding than the April 29th planting date!
