Company Description: Small farming operation
Have decided to sell Dad's IHC 856, with a diesel engine. S/N is 9984 S-Y. Dad was the second owner and bought it in the early 1970's. And for being over 40 years old, still in decent condition, but does need some TLC. He used it on his little 80 acre, irrigated farm here about an hour north of Denver, n/e of Greeley. Tach works and shows 7466 hours. Has the long axles, 16.9 X 38 radials with 35% tread left (my guess), PTO was redone about 50 hours ago and has fairly new batteries. The T/A does work, but quit using it probably 20 years ago, tends to "jump/jerk" occassionally if I remember correctly. Did try it recently and seemed fine. Maybe Dad just wanted to save it, so told me to never use it perhaps? Cab is rough, along with the seat. Do have the R/H window, but new hinges are needed. This has been incredibly dependable and always starts. Seems like it uses a quart of oil for every 75-100 hours of use. Never had a hard life, never pulled a plow. Mostly planted, roller harrow or disk. No front weights, but does have the bracket. Will trow in the single front and the rear wheel weights.
First $7000 takes it, cash only and will provide a receipt. 970-381-6720
