ADM launches enhanced FarmerView mobile site

Agriculture.com Staff 02/25/2013 @ 2:18pm

Earlier this month, Archer Daniels Midland Company unveiled its newly enhanced FarmerView mobile website, optimized for smartphone and tablet devices. The sure is free and offers a more intuitive user experience as well as new features for farmers who want to stay connected while on the move.

“Farmers are becoming more and more tech savvy and need tools to help drive profitability for their businesses,” said Ian Pinner, president of ADM Grain. “The recent updates to ADM’s FarmerView mobile site make it easier for farmers to quickly find essential business and market information – anytime, anywhere.”

The FarmerView mobile site now includes easy access to contract details, delivery status and payment information for ADM Grain and Oilseed customers. The site continues to provide location bids, weather forecasts and futures updates, and mobile market intelligence videos.

Users are also able to personalize several site features from the “My Settings” page, including commodity futures, cash bids, weather updates and location information. Currently, the site supports smartphones and tablet devices with the latest iOS and Android operating systems.

“It’s evident from the high levels of engagement on the previous version of the FarmerView mobile site that farmers are turning to mobile devices to help keep up with the increasingly fast pace of business,” said Jen Hogan, manager of ADM Grain origination. “ADM will continue to invest in technology and offer additional upgrades to the site as technology develops in the future.”
