Red Wing Software, Inc., announces new Express eFiling, a service allowing users to file and access W-2s online anytime. The service can be used directly from Red Wing Software payroll products and is provided by Red Wing Software's eFiling partner Aatrix.

To use the new service, users generate W-2 information directly from their Red Wing Software payroll program to an actual electronic W-2 form. The completed form is then sent electronically to Aatrix, and they file the W-2s with the appropriate State and Federal agencies. Once filed, W-2s are available instantly and distributed to employees electronically through a secure Web site. Because they are stored electronically, they can be accessed and printed by employees or previous employees by entering login information.

Express eFile service is now available in four payroll products supported by Red Wing Software: CenterPoint Payroll, Red Wing Payroll, Controller Payroll, and Perception Payroll.
