Elector Bait approved for livestock operations

Agriculture.com Staff 04/12/2006 @ 9:07am

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Elector Bait, from Elanco, for fly control on dairy, beef, poultry and other livestock operations. It has a delayed mode of action that kills house flies after they have eaten and left the bait area.

The bait is a yellow, granular formulation, which attracts flies. Elector Bait comes ready to use and is available in 5-pound and 40-pound containers. It can be purchased through animal health suppliers, feed stores or veterinarians.
