AEM safety guides go electronic

Justin Davey 11/14/2012 @ 9:25am

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has published its Agricultural Sprayer Safety Manual in e-book format, meeting industry demand for safety information conveniently accessible from mobile devices. The format also allows AEM to more easily distribute safety information globally and extend the reach of its safety messaging.

Features such as variable type, bookmarks, the ability to embed and e-mail notes, content searching, and a low-light reading format each contribute to a user-friendly interface.

AEM warns that e-book safety manuals are not meant to replace the print product, but provide another avenue to reach equipment operators and help them practice safety in the field.

AEM's safety e-books are available in Apple’s iBookstore, as well as 50 iTunes international stores (including the U.S.).

For the print version of the Sprayer Safety Manual, and all AEM safety manuals and materials, visit the online AEM Store.
