New Holland L221 Skid Steer

Updated: 08/14/2014 @ 10:27am

At 74 hp. and with a rated operating capacity of 2,100 pounds, the L221 is the largest, most powerful of New Holland’s three radial arm skid steer models.

“Radial arm skid steers are especially productive in excavating, grading, and digging operations,” says Paul Wade, New Holland.

Like the other skid steers in the 200 lineup, the L221 has a comfortable cab with a 360° view of the job site and a rear window that provides improved rear visibility. “Comfortable operators get more work done,” says Wade. “And better visibility allows for safer and more efficient movement around the work site.”

The long wheelbase of the L221 allows you to lift and haul more material, increasing productivity. The skid steer also has the same, convenient flip-top cab as other New Holland skid steer and compact track loaders. By simply opening the engine compartment rear door, routine service points such as the engine oil fill and dipstick, the air filter, oil cooler, radiator, coolant overflow, fuel filter, and oil filter are readily accessible. If more service access is needed, the entire cab assembly flips forward and out of the way to open the machine up for convenient access to components.
