CLAAS Omaha will be adding several new features to its Lexion combines in 2008, including a color screen CEBIS on-board combine monitoring system for quick and easy access to view and adjust machine performance and a heavy duty drive on selected models designed to handle heavier headers.
The combine's on-board computer monitoring system, called CEBIS, now features a new easy-to-read, color format, sharper resolution and an antiglare screen.
On Class VIII 580/585R Lexion combines a heavy-duty drive option will be available for operators using a 12-row chopping corn head.
For fast chopper speed adjustments, a new rear chopper drive tensioner provides the ability to quickly switch chopper drive speed from corn to soybeans and back with the flip of a lever. In addition, Claas is introducing the V535 VARIO header, which includes a 35-foot small grain head with hydraulically adjustable table for improved feeding in all conditions.
Also new in 2008 is an ergonomically designed, multifunction control lever providing a high degree of accuracy and ease of use, reducing operator fatigue.
