New Holland's CR9090 combine made its North American debut at the Agritrade Show in Red Deere, Alberta recently. The combine uses New Holland's Intellicruise, Intellisteer, OptiClean, and OptiSpread systems and adjustable rotor vane covers to keep the combine operating at the highest levels of efficiency and productivity.
The CR9090 features a 544 hp/400 kW at rated engine speed with a maximum harvest power of 591 hp/435 kW available. It uses turbo compound technology to achieve greater engine efficiency, with a 5% fuel saving when compared to a similar horsepower standard engine. Grain tank capacity is 355 bushels.
