The new Vermeer RR150 Rotary Rake sweeps a 15' wide swath in one pass and produces clean windrows up to 30" wide. A 12' - 15' 6" working width (rotor plus distance to deflector shield) and a 35 hp tractor requirement make the unit ideal for small- to medium-size haying operations looking for an easy-to-operate side-delivery system.
The RR150 uses a series of 13 raking arms. Each is equipped with four double tines per arm for clean, thorough raking action. The arms pivot on a heavy-duty, center-mounted rotor assembly. Single pin gearbox cam adjustment allows the operator to adjust windrow formation to handle a wide variety of field and crop conditions. Hydraulic lift and tilt enable operator to make front-to-back and left-to-right adjustments to the frame's pitch in order to match stubble length or accommodate ground conditions.
Unit has a flip-up 360° guard frame for easy transport and storage. Tine bars are also removable and can be stored on the machine.
