A complete series of new generation disc mowers, designed for today's tougher mowing conditions, increased acres and faster cutting speeds, has been introduced by Vermeer.
The Vermeer 40 Series Disc Mowers are available in four models. Each one features a heavy-duty gearbox housing reinforced with boxed section gussets and built for tough mowing conditions. Increased cast material (along the leading edge of the bar) helps to extend the life of the bar. Increased reinforcement and support on the end of the frame also allows you to cut closer to fencelines.
The cutting discs on the cutter bar are all self-contained and pre-packed with their own set of gears, bearings and lubricant for longer operating life. The bi-shaft design provides all the advantages of a hex shaft drive system for easy service.
Vermeer's Quick-Clip Blade Retention System significantly reduces the number of replacement parts required and allows you to change (or reverse) an entire set of blades in minutes.
