Farm King Introduces 60-Foot Applicator

Farm King Application Equipment is expanding its liquid fertilizer product line with a new 60-foot liquid fertilizer applicator.

The applicator is available with two tank configurations. The model 1860 features an 1800-gallon tank while the 2460 has a 2400-gallon tank. The asymmetrical tank design features a hopper bottom style sump. The tank design minimizes variances in tongue weight and toolbar down pressure despite diminishing tank levels. Additionally, the low center of gravity maximizes wheel tracking stability on side hills.

With a 36-inch crop clearance toolbar, the new applicator allows for later season liquid application. When turning on headlands, the toolbar lifts vertically and then rotates forward to provide 54 inches of crop clearance. The ground contour following toolbar maintains consistent application depth.

The Farm King 1860 and 2460 will be available in limited quantities for spring 2013 with full production beginning this summer. Prices start at $96,000.
