Miller Electric says it has simplified the process of selecting and affording an auto-darkening helmet with the introduction of its two new lines - the Pro-Hobby and Performance Series.

The Pro-Hobby Series is a new, entry-level line designed for quality and budget conscious welders. A full graphics helmet lists for $169 or $149 for black.

The Performance Series is designed for the professional and production welders who weld for extended periods nearly every day. It features three arc sensors that darken the lens between shade #8 to 13 in 1/20,000 of a second. This line also features Miller's Auto-on/Auto-off, which activates the lens shade without having to manually turn the helmet on.
