If you’re thinking about doing some serious tiling on your farm, you may want to take a look at the new Tesmec 775DT farm drainage trencher.
The new 775DT is available in bucket wheel or chainsaw configurations. Both machines can dig up to two feet wide. The bucket wheel’s maximum depth is 7.5 feet while the chainsaw can go up to 8 feet. Thanks to the durable frame on the new trencher, the 775DT can be used in light rock excavation and sandy permafrost.
Low ground pressure and a high floating capability allow the 775DT to operate even in soft or wet terrains. The close loop hydraulic transmission and the Tesmec flywheel gearbox allow the 775DT to transmit the full power delivered by the Cat C6.6 tier 3 diesel engine. The flywheel can generate a peak torque up to three times the torque delivered by the hydraulic motor.
The 775DT is equipped with Tesmec’s TrenchTronic 3.0 control system, which helps operators achieve maximum productivity. The autopilot continuously monitors pressure, digging circuits, and engine RPM to adjust the speed of the machine to digging conditions.
Prices start at $444,000 for the chainsaw model and $515,000 for the bucket wheel.
