Leica Geosystems provides compatible Auto-Steer systems

Agriculture.com Staff 06/09/2009 @ 3:00pm

Leica Geosystems recently added two additional steer-ready kits to their list of steering solutions on its product list, releasing one for all steer-ready Case Magnum MX models, and another for John Deere 8*20 Series AutoTrac-ready tractors.

"In the past, some farmers who wanted to implement auto-steer solutions had limited options because the necessary parts to retrofit their tractors weren't available,” says Trevor Mecham, North American sales manager for Leica Geosystems' Ag Group. "We are working to solve those challenges by providing the components that will fit new and older equipment allowing farmers to take advantage of the efficiencies auto-steer systems provide. When it comes to serving the wide variety of farm equipment working in the field today, Leica is building a color-blind system."

The two new kits include a steer-ready controller along with the associated wiring harness, brackets and fasteners needed to implement auto-steer solutions in these tractors. All of the steer-ready kits are designed to "plug and play" with Leica's mojoRTK and mojoGLIDE auto-steer systems.

For a complete list of steering solutions, see the mojo steer kit list in the Education Center at www.mojoRTK.com or call toll free 877/800-6656.
