SABI Mobile, from Serveon, Inc., now includes stronger GIS capabilities such as the ability to draw boundaries and a Web-based shape file export engine.
SABI Mobile is a GPS-enabled wireless scouting tool that allows growers, regulators and researchers the opportunity to collect, observe, measure and map customizable field data. It is sold on a subscription basis and hardware is free with a two-year commitment.
SABI (Serveon Advanced Business Intelligence) Mobile imports and stores all customer data into Serveon's secure servers. SABI Mobile features near real-time reporting and GPS mapping tools, which utilize ESRI's ArcIMS server.
Serveon has added its own Web-based shape file export engine. This gives users the strongest image capabilities. Users may download all shapes collected by the tracking or polygon features of the pda from the Web site as a fully zipped collection of shape files. This allows for the easy sharing of all shape driven data.
