Quick Change Bracket

A John Deere 2630 Display with AutoTrac SF1 Activation could cost you nearly $10,000. To save money, many farmers use one display for multiple pieces of equipment. While this is a cost-effective approach to purchasing a monitor, it can also be a time-consuming one. This is why Scott Feddes invented the Quick Change Bracket.

“I launched this product after years of selling at a John Deere Dealership and getting frustrated with the system that Deere was using to move a screen from one piece of equipment to the next,” says Feddes. "When Deere didn't come to the market with a solution, I decided to take it on myself."

The new Quick Change Bracket makes removing and installing displays easier and faster. The patent-pending design installs and removes the screen with two distinct motions to prevent accidental detachment if it is bumped or jarred. There is no loose hardware, no drilling, and no wing bolts to line up blind.

The parts sell in two packages: a Starter Kit and Vehicle Kit. The Starter Kit, which includes the bracket and a set of studs, will install one screen on one piece of equipment. The bracket attaches to the back of any John Deere display, including the original display, Mobil Processor, 2100, 2600, 1800, and 2630. The set of shouldered studs installs on the existing metal bracket in the cab. Simply line up the Quick Change Bracket with the studs, rotate, and pull down. To move to another vehicle, an extra Vehicle Kit that includes another set of studs can be purchased separately. The Starter Kit is $45 and the Vehicle Kits are $16.50.
