Mahindra opens new headquarters

Agriculture.com Staff 10/06/2011 @ 9:29am

Mahindra USA demonstrated its continued commitment to the North American market and its home in Houston with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the relocation of its corporate headquarters, national parts distribution center and production to one facility. The new headquarters is a 135,000 square-foot, class A corporate facility that includes 4/5 acre of open yard in northwest Houston, the company’s North American home since 1994. Mahindra & Mahindra Vice Chairman and Managing Director Anand Mahindra and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett joined Mahindra USA President Mani Iyer and Vice President Cleo Franklin in addressing the crowd and marking the official opening of the new site.

“This move signifies Mahindra’s commitment to the North American market,” said Mahindra. “This new, state-of-the-art class A corporate facility will provide the type of working environment that is truly commensurate with being the #1 selling tractor in the world.”

Mahindra USA, Inc. enjoys an extraordinarily high level of customer satisfaction due to an unequalled commitment to quality.  A recent study found that 98% of Mahindra owners were likely to recommend Mahindra to their friends and family.

Tractor owners are not the only people touting the quality of Mahindra products. In 2007, M&M’s Farm Equipment Sector became the only tractor manufacturing company in the world to receive the coveted Japan Quality Medal for excellence in Total Quality Management, awarded by the Deming Prize Committee care of the Union of Japanese Scientists.
