Check grain sales plan

A majority of today's producers are production experts but are not marketing experts, according to Bill Havertape, cofounder of Midwest Strategic Investments, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Therefore, without a plan in place, teamed with the kind of tools now being used to manage risk, they settle into the emotions of greed, hope, and fear to sell their crops. 


This is a good time of year to review your marketing plan and change or execute as necessary.
