Hit-and-miss rainfall chances
08/19/2011 - 08/30/2011
We will likely see another area of rain develop in the far western Corn Belt tonight and that will spread eastward through the Midwest for later tonight through tomorrow night, according to a report by Freese-Notis Weather, Inc.
One
can't be excited about rainfall amounts from that over northern parts of Iowa,
Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio (and points northward), but better rains will be
seen south of there with some nice totals of over an inch possible in
southeastern Nebraska, northeastern Kansas, far southern Iowa, northern
Missouri, southern Illinois, and far southern Indiana. The next chance for rain
in the Midwest will be for about Monday and Tuesday with most everyone having a
chance for light amounts.
