Sponsored: 15-Year Data Shows Highest Yields From April 16 to April 30 Planting Dates

This fifteen-year evaluation was designed to determine the optimum planting date window for corn by planting on multiple dates throughout the growing season. In 2015, the highest yields were achieved on the May 13, 2015 planting date. This is a deviation from Beck's Practical Farm Reserach (PFR)® 15-year data which suggests the highest yields come from the April 16 to April 30 planting window.

Beck's Hybrids PFR program conducts more than 75 different studies across multiple locations (500+ acres) to learn how different management practices and new technologies perform in field environments. Simply put, it is research focused with the farmer in mind.
