Agronomy Tip: Create a Weed Control Plan

Ryan Moeller, Technical Seed Agronomist with WinField United, says that while weed control is a big problem every year, you can incorporate herbicide products into your plan that have multiple modes of action and residuals.

He says, “Especially in soybeans, we cannot fall into the same trap when we plant and as soon as we can't see the beans because of all the weeds then we go spray Roundup. We need to make sure that we are using some sort of residual product in our soybean herbicide plan so that we're going at this weed problem in more than one way.”
