Agronomy Tip: Tissue Testing

Curt Woolfolk, Senior Agronomist at The Mosaic Company, says that tissue sampling over time, combined with yield data, can help you make a plan for your farm and goals for each season to increase yields.

Woolfolk explains, “If you collect soil test data, tissue test data, and yield data, you can begin to group normal, dry and wet years together to understand how parts of the field react to those specific weather conditions.”

Evaluating the historical data will allow you to make a more accurate nutrient recommendation and yield trajectory for your crop.
