2 Year Study Proves R3 Foliar Insecticide Application is Profitable

Purpose: this study is designed to evaluate two different insecticides at the R3 (beginning pod) growth stage.

Summary: Both insecticides performed well this year. Mustang Maxx raised yields by 8.3 Bu./A. across both varieties while providing an impressive $82.96/A. return on investment. Double Take increased yields by 4.1 Bu./A. on average and raised returns by $27.64/A.  Insecticide applications at the R3 growth stage have proven to be a profitable decision over the past two years.
