Sponsored: +$55.03 1-Year ROI of 10 oz. Headline AMP at VT

In 2015, Beck's Practical Farm Research (PFR)® continued the evaluation of Priaxor® and Headline AMP® fungicides, when applied at different times throughout the growing season, to determine if these variations in timing have an affect on yield. This was the third year this study was conducted at their Indiana PFR site.

This corn after corn plot experienced a significant amount of gray leaf spot (GLS) pressure in 2015 due to the environmental conditions it faced. Northern corn leaf blight was also present, but not to the extent of GLS. All applications provided additional yield benefits, while the majority also provided positive return on investment.

Of the hybrids tested, XL 5828AM™* brand was expected to respond in yield due to the GLS it encountered while Phoenix 5832A3**brand and XL 6365AM™*brand, (two very healthy hybrids) responded to fungicide treatments.

Environmental conditions and the corn after corn scenario most likely attributed to these results.

Beck's Hybrids PFR program conducts more than 100 different studies across multiple locations (700+ acres) to learn how different management practices and new technologies perform in field environments. Simply put, it is research focused with the farmer in mind.
