First Year Data Shows Positive ROI for New Capture 3RIVE 3D Insecticide Application System

The purpose of this study was to test  the new and innovative Capture®  3RIVE 3D® insecticide application system and its effect on final population and yield.
The 3RIVE 3D unit is attached as an additional piece of equipment on the planter. It applies Capture 3RIVE 3D insecticide as an in-furrow, three-dimensional foam application. The unit and chemical are designed to allow 500 acres worth of application between fill-ups.
**The application of any insecticide on Phoenix 5552GT**brand (glyphosate only), provided yield increases with all treatments and also positive returns.
**The application of any insecticide on Phoenix 5552EZ**brand (above- and below-ground traits), provided smaller yield increases, but lost money on every treatment.
**The most profitable treatment in the study was the use of 6 oz. Capture 3RIVE 3D applied to Phoenix 5552GT**brand that has no above- and below-ground trait protection.
**As compared to Force® 3G, Capture 3RIVE 3D at both rates provided more emerged plants than Force 3G in every treatment.
