Late October Harvest Update From Farmers

  • Corn Harvest in West Central Ohio

    Near Covington, Ohio, corn is being harvested at 16% to 17% moisture. Yields are ranging significantly, but the farmer is seeing yields of 120 to 210 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in Northeast Indiana

    In Churubusco, Indiana, a farmer just finished harvesting his Beck’s hybrid beans at 12.5% to 13% moisture. Yields varied from field to field, but ranged from 55 to 70 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in South Central Nebraska

    Near Minden, Nebraska, corn is being harvested at 17% moisture. Yields are averaging 220 to 240 bushels per acre. 

  • Soybean Harvest in Northeast Illinois

    In Dwight, Illinois, soybeans are being harvested at 11% to 13% moisture and are yielding 65 to 75 bushels per acre. This farmer planted Channel, Asgrow, and Stone soybeans this year. 

  • Corn Harvest in Eastern North Dakota

    On a farm near Buffalo, North Dakota, the corn harvest just wrapped up early this week. Corn was harvested at 17.8% moisture.

    “My dad farmed for 43 years and never saw anything like these yields,” says the farmer of the impressive yields they saw on their family farm this fall.

  • Soybean Harvest in Southern Minnesota

    In Olivia, Minnesota, a farmer is harvesting his soybeans at 14.7% moisture. Average yields ranged from 59 to 63 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in Central Iowa

    A farm near Maxwell, Iowa, is harvesting corn at 15% to 16.5% moisture. A whole 176 acres of corn averaged over 225 bushels per acre, but yields have ranged from 200 to 240 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in South Central Nebraska

    A farmer from around Minden, Nebraska, finished up harvesting soybeans a week ago. Beans rolled in at 10% to 13% moisture, and an average yield of 72 bushels per acre was recorded.

  • Corn Harvest in Northeast Illinois

    Corn in Dwight, Illinois, is being harvested at 14% to 16% moisture . This northeast Illinois farm planted Channel, Stone, Pioneer, and Wyffels hybrids and saw yields ranging from 235 to 270 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in East Central Missouri

    In Labadie, Missouri, soybeans are being harvested at 14% moisture. A farmer is seeing an average yield of 73 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in North Central Iowa

    Near Blairsburg, Iowa, corn is being harvested at 16.5% moisture. The average yield being seen on this farm is 220 dry bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in Central Illinois

    On a farm in Greenview, Illinois, a father-son duo is harvesting corn at 17% moisture. The farmers are seeing an average yield of 200 bushels per acre.
