Mid-October Harvest Yields From Farmers

  • Corn Harvest in North Central Illinois

    Corn in north central Illinois is being harvested at 20% moisture and yields are ranging from 220 to 260 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in Northwest Ohio

    One farmer in Mendon, Ohio isn’t thrilled to be harvesting soybeans that are already only 11% moisture, but is seeing an average yield of 68 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in South Central Nebraska

    Storm damage has a south central Nebraska farm dealing with irrigated corn yields that range from 130 bushels per acre all the way up to 240 bushels per acre. Moisture levels are in the high teens.

  • Soybean Harvest in North Central Indiana

    A farm in Leesburg, Indiana, is harvesting soybeans at 11% moisture and is recording an average yield of 60 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in North Central Iowa

    In Klemme, Iowa, corn is being harvested at 17% moisture. Corn is rolling in at 230 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in Eastern North Dakota

    In a part of the Red River Valley that took on hail and over 30 inches of rain during the growing season, a farmer is harvesting soybeans at 13% moisture and is seeing an average yield of 50 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in Southern Minnesota

    Up in Owatonna, Minnesota, corn is being harvested at 22% moisture and yields are looking average to above average despite some serious wet spots in the fields.

  • Soybean Harvest in Eastern Nebraska

    A Morse Bluff, Nebraska, farmer is harvesting beans at 12.8% moisture and is seeing an average yield of 79 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in Northern New York

    Right near the Canadian border in Plattsburgh, New York, high-moisture corn is being harvested at 30% to 35% moisture. Yields are ranging from 175 to 185 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in North Central Illinois

    North central Illinois soybeans are coming in at 60 to 75 bushels per acre and are 12% moisture.

  • Corn Harvest in Central Indiana

    A farmer in Franklin, Indiana, is harvesting corn at 20% moisture and is seeing yields range from 170 to 190 bushels per acre.

    Soybean yields are ranging from 65 to 70 bushels per acre on this farm and are being harvested at 11.5% moisture.

  • Soybean Harvest in Northeast Ohio

    Longacre Farm Service is harvesting soybeans at 12% moisture in northeast Ohio. The average yield being recorded is 50 bushels per acre.

  • Seed Corn Harvest in Southern Nebraska

    In Clay Center, Nebraska, 1311 Pioneer with 20% to 30% greensnap and a pollination issue is being harvest at 15.77% moisture. This farmer is seeing an average yield of 147 bushels per acre.

  • Soybean Harvest in Southwest Minnesota

    In southwest Minnesota, soybeans are being harvested at 13% moisture and yields are ranging from 55 to 70 bushels per acre.

    After this farmer started harvesting in late September, he was forced out of the field for a week due to some significant rain.

  • Silage Harvest in Eastern North Dakota

    A South Heart, North Dakota, farm is harvesting silage with a pull-type chopper and is seeing 11 tons per acre, which the farmer is thankful for since the area was hit hard by the growing season’s drought.

  • Soybean Harvest in South Central Nebraska

    Irrigated soybeans are being harvested at 10% moisture in south central Nebraska. This particular farmer is seeing an average yield of 80 bushels per acre.

  • Corn Harvest in Northeast Missouri

    Corn in Monroe City, Missouri, is being harvested at 16% moisture. Although the area is seeing some double digit yields, this particular farm is seeing an average yield of 160 to 170 bushels per acre.
