Successful Farming magazine’s support and involvement as not only the original media sponsor, but also as the Top Sponsor is very important to AG CONNECT Expo. They bring a wealth of industry expertise and knowledge, ensuring top-quality, expert-led presentations in the Innovations Theater right on the AG CONNECT Expo show floor," said Charlie O'Brien, AEM vice president Agricultural Services.

Scott Mortimer, publisher of Successful Farming, says, “We’re excited to build on the highly successful AG CONNECT Expo of 2010 with an expanded offering in the Innovations Theater. We are expanding not only the number of seats available, but also the number of sessions with top industry speakers.”

Innovations Theater sessions will cover high-interest topics to producers, including precision farming, health and wellness, family business management, best tips for saving time, money and labor, and top farm shops. All Innovations Theater sessions are free to AG CONNECT Expo attendees.

The all-star line-up of expert speakers includes Laurie Bedord (Potter), Editor, Successful Farming; Jolene Brown, CSP, Founder of Business-First Family Institute; Dr. Don Horneck, Associate Professor and Extension Agronomist, Oregon State University; Dave Mowitz, Editor, Successful Farming; Al Kluis, President and Managing Partner, Kluis Commodities; Greg Peterson (aka Machinery Pete); and Dr. Fred E. Below, Professor of Plant Physiology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign;.

The Successful Farming Innovations Theater will host a new series of Town Hall forums at AG CONNECT Expo 2011 from AEM, American Farm Bureau Federation and NAEDA . The three free forums are an opportunity for dealers, producers and other agribusiness stakeholders to sound off on current agricultural events such as “The Shrinking Environmental Footprint of Agriculture,”  “Trade's Impact at the Farm Gate,” and “Understanding Agriculture through the Eyes of the Consumer.”

AG CONNECT Expo is January 8-10, 2011, with Preview Day on January 7 by special admission. It is at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The event is a world-class agricultural trade show, offering the latest innovations, products, services and technology, access to industry experts, and quality learning and networking opportunities.
