Better grip for changing tips
After many years of changing sprayer tips, I finally found an easier way to go about the task. By the time I’d changed 60 or 70 of them, my hand would start hurting. Then it occurred to me to try a socket that would fit over the tips and be easy to hold on to. The one I use now for the job has a 1¼-inch seat, so the fit is nice, and it creates a comfortable grip. I put it on and the tip twists right off. I also use it for twisting them back on again.
