Keep a Clear Threshold

My overhead doors used to freeze to the cement floor, especially during an ice storm. The rubber seal at the bottom of the door would stick and separate from the door when it opened. Then I cut the top 4 inches off a piece of vinyl siding the length of the door to go under the door track between the weather seal and the floor. The top edge of the siding piece flexes enough to allow the seal to separate from it, yet it stays rigid and straight when I drive over it.
