CLAAS goes USED when new is hard to come by

Supply chain issues have disrupted everything from chicken tenders to computer chips, and many growers across North America are feeling the effects.

Earlier this year, Claas launched its Pre-Sell Program to ensure the company has the components necessary to meet farmers’ demand and build machines amid component shortages due to supply chain disruptions.

Now, to help farmers get access to the equipment they need, Claas is announcing its CLAAS USED program for North America that will offer professionally inspected and protected “Certified” pre-owned equipment.

“The new CLAAS USED program is designed to enhance our dealers’ ability to reach the public, remarketing their used equipment through our new website,” says Allen Miller, Claas’ North American remarketing manager.

The selection of used Claas equipment on CLAASUsedEquipment.com includes combines, tractors, baler, forage harvesters and hay tools. Equipment sold on the website is listed from Claas dealers across North America.

Certified Standard

In addition to their regular selection of pre-owned equipment, Claas has incorporated a separate selection of Certified Pre-Owned equipment within the CLAAS USED program.

All Certified pre-owned machines under this umbrella have been cleaned, inspected, repaired, and approved by Claas Certified Technicians. Repairs on all Certified equipment are made with original Claas parts and include a one-year drive-train protection plan, with the option to upgrade to a comprehensive protection plan.

The CLAAS USED program offers protection for pre-owned combines, forage harvesters, and tractors with a variety of available plans. The CLAAS USED Drive Train Protection plan comes standard on all Certified pre-owned equipment.

CLAAS MAXI CARE Comprehensive Extended Protection is an optional layer of coverage for Certified pre-owned equipment meeting the strictest inspection standards. This added protection is available for purchase on select Claas used combines, forage harvesters or tractors.

The CLAAS USED Drive Train Protection is also available for separate purchase on some of their regular selection of pre-owned combines, forage harvesters, and tractors meeting age and hour requirements.
