Earlier this year, Jason Webster, Beck’s Practical Farm Research (PFR)® Innovation Lead, headed out to the field to evaluate the success of the Capello® Quasar Corn Head as a fall tillage tool.
In the 2015 trials, Beck's PFR evaluated the use of this equipment in continuous corn and soybeans after corn situations to see how it will affect speed of stalk degradation, drying/warming of the soil, and if it could be a viable solution for “carbon penalty” in continuous corn rotations. You can read more about this study here.

Beck's Hybrids PFR program conducts more than 75 different studies across multiple locations (500+ acres) to learn how different management practices and new technologies perform in field environments. Simply put, it is research focused with the farmer in mind. Click here
