Arctic Cat Prowler

  • opening

The Arctic Cat Prowler was put through its paces during our Ultimate UTV Evaluation. Here’s a shot of evaluator John Lumkes, ag engineering professor at Purdue University, as he takes the Prowler for a spin.

  • water

Utility vehicles are put through a variety of conditions on farms. Here we ran the machines through a section of Little Goose Creek to see how they handled water.

  • bed

The Prowler has a manual release dump bed that can hold up to 1,000 pounds.

  • gravel

We filled the Prowler with 500 pounds of gravel and took it out on the trails to see how the machine handled with a load.

  • seats

The Prowler comfortably seats three people with high-back seats.

  • dash

From the dash on the Prowler, you can easily see how fast you are going and how full the gas tank is.

  • front

The Arctic Cat Prowler uses a double a-arm front and rear suspension. The front suspension is shown at the left.

  • rear

Here's a shot of the rear suspension.

This was one of eight machines tested at the Ultimate UTV Evaluation.
