Impact Wrench Line Offers Leading Breakaway Torque Output

Engineered for industrial use and backed by a two-year warranty, GearWrench’s 81 Series air impact wrenches generate market-leading breakaway torque levels. For example, the top-of-the-line ¾-inch-drive wrench, the model 88170, turns out a whopping 1,800 foot-pounds of breakaway torque with a maximum working torque rating of 1,400 foot-pounds.

Performance ratings for the other tools in the 81 Series line include:
• The ½-inch-drive wrench (model 88050) has a breakaway torque of 1,100 foot-pounds and working torque of 780 foot-pounds.
• The ⅜-inch-drive wrench (model 88030) has a breakaway torque of 510 foot-pounds and working torque of 420 foot-pounds.

All the wrenches are assembled with triple-heated twin-hammer mechanisms backed up with industrial-grade bearings and end plates that provide long-life. Other features include a variable-speed trigger, one-hand push button control of forward or reverse action, and reduced operating noise because of an innovative air smuggler design.

Online prices for the wrenches are $201.99 for the ⅜-inch model, $217.99 for the ½-inch drive model, and $474.99 for the ¾-inch drive model.
