Asia Grains-Indonesian mill buys Canadian spring wheat for Feb shipment

SINGAPORE, Nov 2 (Reuters) -

* An Indonesian flour miller this week purchased up to 25,000 tonnes of Canadian Western Red Spring (CWRS) wheat for shipment in February, two Singapore-based trade sources said.

* It paid between $290 and $295 a tonne, including cost and freight (C&F), for wheat with 13.5 percent protein content.

* Wheat from the Black Sea region with 11.5 percent protein level was quoted below $260 a tonne, C&F, for January shipment as compared with about $265 a tonne being priced for spot November arrival, they said.

* "Prices are higher for November cargoes as there is some tightness in the market for spot delivery because of strong demand," said one of the traders. (Reporting by Naveen Thukral, Editing by Sherry Jacob-Phillips)
