Brazilian railway company Rumo sells sugar, grain Santos port terminals for $259 mln -filing
July 15 (Reuters) - Brazilian railway operator Rumo SA has sold two sugar and grain terminals in Latin America's largest port, Santos, for 1.4 billion reais ($259 million) to port operator CLI, it said in a securities filing late on Friday.
The port operator CLI, which up to the deal was wholly owned by private equity fund IG4, will receive an investment from Australia's Macquarie Infrastructure Partners V to help fund the deal. Macquarie will share control of CLI with IG4 after acquiring a 50% stake, the filing said.
