Ukraine expects another IMF loan tranche by end of year: central bank chief

KYIV, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Ukraine expects to receive another loan tranche from the International Monetary Fund by the end of 2020, Central Bank Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko said in an online briefing on Thursday.

He spoke after the central bank kept its main interest rate at 6% for the third successive meeting, weighing the need to support the coronavirus-hit economy with delays in receiving foreign aid loans and an expected jump in inflation.
