KIEV, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Ukraine's grain exports stood at
25.1 million tonnes by Wednesday, down from 27.7 million tonnes
on the same date the previous season, the agriculture ministry
said on Wednesday.

So far in the 2017/18 season, which runs from July to June,
Ukraine exported 12.6 million tonnes of wheat, 8.5 million
tonnes of maize and more than 3.9 million tonnes of barley, the
ministry said in a statement.

Ukraine said it harvested 61.3 million tonnes of grain in
calendar 2017, compared with a record 66 million tonnes in 2016.

Acting agriculture minister Maksim Martyniuk said this week
the ministry maintained the 2017/18 grain export forecast at up
to 41 million tonnes for now, but this could be lowered to 40
million tonnes.
