KYIV, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Ukraine has used 66.5% of the 2020/21 wheat export quota, shipping abroad 11.63 million tonnes of the commodity so far in the July-June season, economy ministry data showed on Tuesday.

Grain traders and the government have agreed that the volume of wheat available for export this season must not exceed 17.5 million tonnes.

Ukraine exported 20.5 million tonnes of wheat in the 2019/20 season.

Ukraine accounts for about 16% of global grain exports and sold 56.7 million tonnes of various grains to foreign buyers in the 2019/20 season.

The data also showed that Ukraine had exported 4.5 million tonnes of corn and 3.7 million tonnes of barley to take total grain exports to around 20.2 million tonnes. (Reporting by Pavel Polityuk; editing by Jason Neely)
