Ukraine minister raises 2021/22 wheat export outlook to 24.4 mln T

KYIV, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Ukrainian agriculture minister on Friday increased the forecast of the country's wheat export in the 2021/22 July-June season to 24.4 million tonnes from the previous estimate of 23.8 million, local media quoted Roman Leshchenko as saying.

He gave no reason for the higher outlook, but said the exports could include 14.8 million tonnes of milling wheat and 9.6 million tonnes of feed wheat.

Ukraine has completed the 2021 wheat harvest, threshing almost 33 million tonnes of the commodity.
