Ukraine rapeseed area seen stable in 2023 -deputy minister

PARIS, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Ukraine's rapeseed area for next year's harvest is expected to remain stable compared with this year's crop, First Deputy Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotskyi said on Thursday.

The stability reflects a shift in the war-torn country towards oilseeds, which are more profitable and easier to manage logistically compared with cereals, Vysotskyi said during an online briefing. (Reporting by Pavel Polityuk and Gus Trompiz, editing by Sybille de La Hamaide)
