Ukraine to open river navigation on March 10

KYIV, March 5 (Reuters) - Ukraine will open navigation on its Dnieper river on March 10, APK-Inform consultancy on Friday quoted the Ukrainian state-run river information service as saying.

Ukraine, among the major global grain exporters, has begun to actively increase grain shipments along the Dnieper from central regions to ports on the Black Sea.

More than 3 million tonnes of grain were delivered along the Dnieper in 2020. (Reporting by Pavel Polityuk; editing by John Stonestreet)
