U.S. Farm Loan Repayment Rate Slows -St. Louis Fed

CHICAGO, Aug 9 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis issued its second-quarter 2018 report on the agricultural economy on Thursday.

• The rate of loan repayment slowed during the quarter and is expected to worsen slightly in the third quarter, the bank said.

• Loan demand increased compared with a year ago.

• The value of quality farm land fell from a year earlier, but cash rents edged higher, according to a bank survey.
