USDA raises domestic sugar stocks outlook

Oct 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Thursday raised its outlook for domestic sugar stocks as it increased its production estimate for the 2019/20 crop year.

The USDA put the closely watched stocks-to-use ratio at 14.5 for 2019/2020, compared to its forecast of 13.5 last month. It cut the ratio for 2018/19 to 14.0 from 14.2 last month. (Reporting By Caroline Stauffer Editing by Nick Zieminski)
