CHICAGO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - U.S. wheat and corn futures fell
on Friday, retreating from multi-month highs established a day
earlier as traders took profits and focused on prospects for
better weather in the drought-hit U.S. Plains wheat belt.
Soybeans sagged on much-needed rains in Argentina's crop
belt and worries about U.S. soybean export demand.
Broad declines in commodities added to bearish sentiment.

CHICAGO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Chicago Mercantile Exchange lean
hog futures on Friday were pressured by lower cash and wholesale
pork prices, said traders.
They said February futures lost technical support while
other contracts triggered sell stops after drifting below
February hogs closed down 0.225 cent per pound to
73.175 cents, below the 20-day moving average of 73.204 cents.
Most-active April finished 0.600 cent lower at 68.850

BUENOS AIRES, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Some 93 cargo ships were
waiting on Friday to load soy and corn from Argentina's main
exporting hub of Rosario, more than a week into a truck owners
strike, the spokesman for an industry group said.
That was up sharply from just over 60 on Thursday, said
Andres Alcarez, spokesman for export company chamber CIARA-CEC.
USDA is still using pork production estimates that are just too large.

BUENOS AIRES, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Truckers in Argentina ended
a strike that had stalled grain exports and agreed to meet with
transportation authorities later this month to resolve their
differences, the government said on Saturday.
Nearly 100 cargo ships were waiting on Friday to load soy
and corn from Argentina's main agro-export hub of Rosario, more
than a week into a truck owners strike that had brought exports
to a near halt.
DUBAI, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Saudi Agricultural and Livestock
Investment Co (SALIC) has appointed Khaled Mohammed al-Aboodi as
managing director from February 1, it said in statement.
SALIC is owned by the Public Investment Fund, the kingdom's
sovereign wealth fund. It began operations in 2012 to secure
food supplies for the kingdom mainly through mass production and
