- 1 would be dying of starvation
- 11 would be undernourished
- 22 would be overweight
2. FBN Gets Huge Round of Funding
Maybe you saw that Farmers Business Network just got another gigantic round of funding – $110 million. This was a Series D round, bringing the total funding that FBN has received to more than $200 million. Innovation in agriculture is hot!

4. Growing Season – the Next Episodes
In case you didn’t see it, the Carbon TV series Growing Season just launched the second half of its 3rd season with its heartwarming story of two farmer operations.
5. Speaking of Heart-Warmers …
Our own Laurie Bedord tells the touching story of Dalaney Vickrey, age 16, in the latest episode of “Show Bound” – a look at one amazing Indiana girl who shows pigs despite her battle with cystic fibrosis. It beats any Hallmark movie, any day.
